Deschutes Brewery | Multi-Phase Production Expansion

This comprehensive expansion of the Deschutes Brewery production facility spanned Phases 2, 3, and 4, involving the complex integration of multiple pre-engineered metal buildings into the existing infrastructure. The project significantly increased operational capacity, adding specialized space for larger fermenters, brew tanks, and a state-of-the-art bottling line, alongside high-storage chilled warehouses and a dedicated three-story waste treatment building. A critical component of this development was the EPA Phase 1 ESA and brownfield remediation required to transform the site from its former use as a lumber mill into a modern industrial hub.

The final phase introduced a new three-story office building, topped by the iconic Mountain Room—a 250-person hospitality suite supported by a 1,000-square-foot commercial catering kitchen. Simultaneously, renovations at the Bond Street Brew Pub required a complete floor-plan swap of the kitchen and brew house. This high-stakes logistical challenge was executed seamlessly, ensuring the pub remained fully operational without a single day of closure. From technical industrial cooling systems to high-end hospitality finishes, these projects represent a total transformation of Deschutes’ production and public-facing footprint.
